All of my work is a spiritual connection with my life, which has gone through many changes and looks like a patchwork. It is always an attempt to combine imagery and abstraction, an ongoing striving to communicate while going deeper.
My work can be seen at Gallery on Fifth in Calumet, Michigan: mostly animal faces and icons. I also have some new abstract tree work at the Community Arts Center in Hancock. There are also some drawings and animal sculptures in the Moonbird Gallery in Door County, Wisconsin.
My remaining oil paintings and much of my recent works are in my sister's gallery in Anaconda, Montana, the Stop Light Gallery.
My studio is now in my house at 1100 Hill Street, Hancock, MI 49930.
I have decided that one way I can share my work is to have giclee prints made. Many of the larger images that are of interest could possibly be made into an archival print, about 15x17", for $150. Please email me if you are interested. joycekoskenmaki@icloud.com
