All of my work is a spiritual connection with my life, which has gone through many changes and looks like a patchwork.  It is always an attempt to combine imagery and abstraction, an ongoing striving to communicate while going deeper.

The High End Gallery in Traverse City will show my work in January 2021 after closing during a scheduled show in June 2020.

My work can be seen at Gallery on Fifth in Calumet, Michigan and at the Community Arts Center in Hancock.  There are also some small paintings and animal sculptures in the Moonbird Gallery in Door County, Wisconsin.

My remaining oil paintings and much of my recent works are in my sister's gallery in Anaconda, Montana, the Stop Light Gallery.

My studio is now in my house at 1100 Hill Street, Hancock, MI 49930.

I have decided that one way I can share my work is to have giclee prints made.  Many of the  larger images that are of interest could possibly be made into an archival print, about 15x17", for $150.  Please email me if you are interested.

Patchwork 27x33'' 1935

This quilt was done after a residency in Finland in the town where my ancestors left to come to America. The cemetery in Alajarvi has a lot of very old ornate wrought iron headstones with the name Koskenmaki
and there is a road leading to their farm called Koskenmaentie. This is my homage to our ancestors who left home to find a better life.
